DITF: Mejor Dimelo Assasinated
This week, we present you with yet another Disturbance in the Force, a very big disturbance actually.
One of this year’s biggest hits, “Mejor Dimelo” (Jesse Turner / Siggno), has been redone by another band. Was it done Conjunto? WRONG! Tejano? WRONG. Hell, by my standards, it could have been done in Russian and I probably would have accepted that.
Sadly, “Mejor Dimelo” has been done Duranguense style. How dare they (Banda Lamento Show)! I mean, the only positive thing that could possible arise from this is exposure of Jesse’s writing skills. However, this version just completely ruins the song. Jesse probably doesn’t mind, but we do.
so how does that work? do you need permission FIRST
before you re-do someone’s song or do you just give the person credit after you’ve re-done it?

wow! since banda/duranguense bands are backed by drug lords and make tons of cash, maybe jesse will see a good portion of that moo-lah!!!!

rumor has it that they started making purple lizard skin boots that say WE LOVE JESSE TURNER on them, thats just what ive heard.
