Juanes Breaking and Entering

According to the Laws of the Jikkasoromena, thou shalt not reverse-crossover music. Actually, that doesn’t make any sense. What is weird, however, is how Spanish rock singer/songwriter/monopolizer Juanes appears to be making a backwards jump (possibly into an alligator pit with his eyes closed). Just listen to his Norteno version of “Me Enamora” (see below)
Why do I say backwards jump? Because I said so…you never hear big rock bands doing regional style music (by regional, I mean Tejano, Conjunto, and Norteno, stuff thats big in a certain area). You hear of Tejano bands doing crossover projects, sometimes trying to leave the regional scene for bigger things (i.e. JennyPen). What kind of money could you possibly make going Tejano from Spanish rock? If not money, what kind of popularity could you possibly gain? It could be that S-rockers are seeing a potential market for themselves. Such an effort can be seen in a collaborative gig video between Pesado and Kinky.
Only the future can tell what will become of this.

I wonder if he did this first before they jack this song like they did la camisa negra?
