Here’s a nice video of Delia y Culturas back in the days. Check out Dee! No he’s not Cuban, he’s an African-American from San Antonio.
Shevi told me a while back that she heard they were making a come back. Sure enough, after asking BNet Radio’s Manny “El Picante” Garcia, he wrote the following:

remake single and the CD is forth coming, we are playing on the radio.

These guys were kick ass back when Tejano was very much alive (the 90s). Lets see if they can resurrect their former glory. I couldn’t find a MySpace page or else I would have posted it. Keep checking for updates.

yeah…i think he was called Dee y La Franz (???). Met him once in San Antonio with La Tropa F a few years ago. He’s pretty cool.

These people are both so funny and cool to meet, (delia $ Dee) I cant wait to go see them cause I only got to see them when they were solo. But im pretty sure their show will be awsome. They did win alot of tejano awards for Best Showband of the Year. I think they will do an awsome job.

Showband of the year? it looks like a musical performance off of the Disney Channel.
