Ex-Mazz Musician Arrested, One Guess Why
As posted by Ramiro Burr in his blog, one of Mazz’s ex-musicians has been arrested, and not for wearing white after Labor Day. Mario Gonzalez, ex-bassist for Grupo Mazz in the 90s, was arrested on indecency with a minor charges (what a jerk). To be more specific, officers found child pornography at his residence in Pharr during a warranted search.
What is the matter with these people? Do they not find legal people attractive enough? Is this some sick fetish? Nevermind. I don’t think I want to know.
This comes a little over a year after Joe Lopez, Mazz frontman and vocalist, was convicted and sentenced to 32 1/2 years on aggrevaed sexual assault and indecency with a minor charges. Conspiracy? I think not. Perhaps they will share a cell.
Maybe this is just what Mazz needed to get the band pumped, perhaps inspiration for some new material,songs,music, Etc Etc.

You know what really pisses me off… people that are quick to defend these actions or forgive these actions, or not speak of them at all… like it didn’t happen. This isn’t a case of someone smoking a little weed. He is charged for selling and laundering over a quarter of a million dollars of drug money.
I bust my but trying to sell the Tejano culture to sponsors and too a new generation of La Onda… and stupid shit like this reflects on everybody in our culture. I better stop typing before I really go off….
