It has been almost a year since the conviction of Tejano superstar Joe Lopez on charges of aggrevated sexual assault.

Of course, many fans are split when it comes to the incident.  Some fans say he was framed; others say he deserved what he got.  However, kingpin label Freddie Records seems to be a bit confused on their opinion of Mr. Lopez.

If you head to the bottom of their artists page you will find a picture of Joe Lopez, but no contact information (see picture at bottom).

I understand that Joe is in prison and can’t really go out and sing for the world, but why endorse him on your artists page?  You cannot compare this to having your kids in prison and say “But he’s still my son/daughter.”  Endorsing (and yes, it is endorsing because his picture and name is still there) Joe Lopez on your artists, I would think, taints the glorious image of Freddie Records.  Bottom line, Joe Lopez has no contact information, but he is still listed as an artist.
Perhaps we can expect  Joe to return to the stage?  Is that what they’re trying to say?
