Pretty good lineup this coming Sunday…

Southern Soul, a combo Tejano/Hip Hop/Funk band from Corpus, will be performing on the Domingo Live! show this Sunday. I can honestly say these guys are pretty good at what they do. How do I know? That was the band we (Sexto Sueño) battled at the 93.5 Battle of the Bands! Those guys, they can dance, their musicians very skilled. Check them out on Sunday (that’s an order, soldier!).

In other news, Los Badd Boyz del Valle will also be jamming on the show. If you haven’t heard this conjunto yet, they’re pretty good (whoops, used that twice in a post…LOL). I say pretty good because the conjunto revolution is kinda over. If you think about it, it was alive and kicking when Jimmy Garcia revived the whole “chuco” movement. It was a short lived fad (to me at least). LBB are from the Valley though, and thats cool, given the fact that most music down there is Duelo, Siggno, Pesado, stuff like that. I haven’t heard of many conjunto’s in that area that can pull off that sound. Anyways…
