Houston PD: Emilio Was Intoxicated
According to various reports through the associated press, toxicology reports from Emilio Navaira’s bus crash have surfaced and shown that Mr. Navaira was indeed intoxicated (for those who don’t have a dictionary, that means he was drunk).
When we first heard about the incident, we knew right away there was alcohol involved. Think about it: coming out of a gig at Hallabaloo’s, hitting the road at 4:00 in the morning. There is no way you go to a club like that (musician or customer) and walk out sober, and with an act like Emilio’s, con mas ganas. Emilio has been previously arrested for DWI.
On the brighter side, we are glad to hear that Emilio has been moved to a rehabilitation center. He is reportedly able to speak, eat, and do other amazing things. Although, doctors do say that he will have a rough time concentrating and remembering stuff.
We hope Emilio plans to hire a road manager in the future. We also hope that all of Tejano’s future stars will learn something from this experience.

well…not all bands drink on the road.
Ours doesnt…but then again we’re not the cliche of the industry either hahaha….and we love that.
But I feel ya on the hunch…I think its no secret that homie drinks heavyly at all his gigs…so when I heard he was driving…well I knew.
You know if he wants to put his life at risk with all the potential health effects of chronic drinking thats his problem…but as soon as that person decides to drive its all of our problem.
I hope they hang him.

I agree…its not like we didnt already know alcohol was involved…and people still dont learn…My prayers are still with Emilio pero maybe this is another reality check for him since he had already had one..nombre….
