Quick! Call in sick! Take your kids out early! Divorce your spouse! Show us your boobs! Brownsville’s Charro Days Fiesta is coming up. This festival is equivalent to Buc Days in Corpus Christi, but better; I guess its not equivalent.

Festivities include a carnival, taco eating contest (flour tortillas), parade, folklorico dances, and some other dances.

One dance, on February 29th, will feature the Tejano Boys and Los Dos Gilbertos. The other dance, on March 1st, will feature Jimmy Gonzalez y Grupo Mazz and Los Badd Boyz del Valle.

To the Committe: Excellent job in booking the bands.
