Chicas de Canela Slowly Unraveling
 
Following up with our Chicas de Canela story from last week, I found out the person responsible for the project. That person is Cynni, a well known female keyboard/accordionist. I could almost kick myself in the ass for not seeing that one. Her MySpace profile reads:
“Anyways, so now I am putting a new project together at Freddie Records with a very talented, tight-knit group of people. I am having alot of fun with this cause it’s something that I’ve wanted to do.
So far it is going smoothly, the album to be released Fall ‘07″
Stay tuned for more info! Maybe Ms. Cynni can give us a taste of what CdC will be all about.
SO CYNNI IS BEHIND ALL THIS CHICAS DE CANELA HUH. MAKES ME WONDER WHAT KINDA RIFF CAME OUT WITH CYNNI AND LA CONQUISTA. I MEAN AFTER ALL SHE WAS THE KEYBOARDIST FOR THEM. MAKES YOU WANNA SAY HHHMMMMM…..

I know what it makes me think….that we’re gonna have a new girl band that can actually play instruments…..and that actually can sing….and I know for a fact that Cynni is not the only one that is reponsible of Chicas de Canela….Didi is a BIG part of it too….both Didi and Cynni got to branch out… there was too much talent to be wasted following a minidisk……so I am not suprised that either girls left LC….and I just know that I can’t wait for Chicas de Canela’s cd to come out SOON…..

well n/m the whole leaving l/c thing. the past is the past. and i agree with oneromasil….there will be another story on CdC today, an official statement from cynni.
oneromasil: if you were saying that cynni was not the only one responsible, it was probably because i might have made it seem that way…it seems that way because, well, try to google “chicas de canela” and see what you get……nothing. exactly.
