Video of the Week - Boni and Mando Jamming Out

I took this video last night at Tejanoville (10/14/2007). After we got on stage, Carlos y Los Cachorros went on, then Mando y La Venganza (triple header!). Mando was playing and all of a sudden Boni shows up out of nowhere. He had just come in from Houston; he didn’t even bother going home. As soon as Mando said his name, he went on stage and they jammed for a good while.

Its good to know that after his recent heart attack, he’s still playing. I did talk to him over the phone a few days ago. He said that he’s gone from gigging 4 to 5 days out of the week to just 2 because of his health. It won’t be long before we see him gigging like crazy again. Check it out…And yes, that’s Mando singing segunda voz.
