Hometown Boys Singer Dies

We are sad to say that we have just discovered the passing of Ricky Martinez, lead vocalist for The Hometown Boys. As far as we know, Ricky was ill a year ago, but recovered quickly and returned to singing. Also, we’re told that Ricky was on life support last night, but passed away early this morning at around 12:20 a.m., July 13, 2007.

Our condolences go out to the Martinez family for yet another treacherous loss to the glorious family.

This marks the fourth death in the family since the 1997 passing of Roman Jr. Please keep the Martinez family in your deepest prayers.
