ZOMFG: Big Circo Gone Emo Part I

You may remember a band by the name of Big Circo (EMI) out of Brownsville. Their biggest hit was “Yo No Fui” and they painted their faces like evil mimes from hell (RIP Marcel). What happened to them?
We can’t forget the collaborations with the Kumbia Kingz (RIP to the name) or the hardcore accordion playing and acting he did in his video with Thalia…
Are they giving up? Why do we ask? Big Boy a.k.a. Alex Salinas (Big Circo frontman) has a rock band called Barra Libre now, and is looking to hook that up with a label. How do you play two fields at once? You’ve got to give up one or the other (kind of like polygamy).
Until next time, the following questions remained unanswered: Does Big Circo still exist or has it been transformed into Los Fallout Boys del Norte? Exactly how long will we be able to get the Special MySpace Price (LOL)? Stay tuned for part two.

not cool, ………seriously.

Last few times I’ve seen Big Circo in the last year they don’t even paint their faces anymore and wear these ugly orange or blue prison jumpsuits. For a while there they didn’t even have the dancers they use to have and lost a few original members. A few months back I saw them and they had two new cuties playing and dancing and that brought some ANIMO back pero it wasn’t the same. I liked their last cd no doubt…they covered some old school cumbias from Pegasso and such.
