After so many months of digging for information, I could not find this chic.

So as you all know (or don’t know) I moved backed to good ‘ol Texas, and in this state everybody basically knows everybody. I was hired for a job almost immediately. One day, I was doing my daily routine when I run into my aunt and uncle. My uncle and I start talking about the family and all the new things that have been going on. He tells me that they are in the studio and recording some tracks (Christian music). So, im like “Wow Tio, thats so cool.” Then he leans over and says, “Do you know who sings with us? Remember Sonia Bass- Diva de Kumbia?”

That was like music to my ears only because out of all places, I never once tried looking for her on the other side. So, he tells me all the details on how she is doing an awesome job and has changed her life to serve the Lord . I guess that is becoming a big thing for our musicos. You now have Letty Guval, Jimmy Edwards, Julissa Villarreal, Javier Molina, and I recall my uncle even telling me that Javier Galvan from Grupo Fama did a turn around. Wow. So I figure if musicians like this vanish again like Sonia Bass did, well I know where I can look.

We are glad to have finally found you and know you doing great, Sonia.
